Pre-Hire Letters: What They Mean (and Don't)

You have now achieved your goal of obtaining your Class A Driver’s License and are now ready to begin your career as an Over The Road (OTR) transportation professional, or you are enrolled in school and on your way there. There are thankfully many opportunities that await you during this exciting time, with some coming your way via employers reaching out to you. Of course, learning to navigate what is a legitimate job offer and what is instead a statement of potential interest on an employer's part can be somewhat confusing, especially if you are new to the trucking industry.
